Miniature Carpet Designs

The word miniature means showing smaller. This word is originally a foreign word, and the first half of the present century has become a term in Persian today that is not limited to Iranian miniatures or other countries in any real sense, but to every fine and artistic artifact made in any style or manner. It’s called miniature.

Miniature carpet designs, both old and new, that do not follow the European style and traditional paintings are called miniature carpet designs, and this is a misconception.

In miniature carpet designs, the images are unlike the real world. The volume and the light shade are not used and the laws of landscapes and visions are not respected.
